When to see an orthodontist

Early treatment can influence the growth of the jaws, correct functional problems and bad habits.

Prevention before the age of 6

Identify if all the conditions to a harmonious growth and the well-being of the child are present.

Interception between 6 and 12 years old

Allows to monitor the child's harmonious growth and intervene if necessary.

The phases of treatment

The two phases of orthodontic treatment

The orthodontic specialist will determine whether early treatment is necessary. It will take place in two phases:

First phase of treatment

It will take place when your child still has most of his or her baby teeth.

Second phase of treatment

It will be determined according to your child's development.

The techniques

Orthodontic techniques

Classic braces with ceramic fasteners brackets

Consisting of brackets glued to the outside of the teeth and connected by a metal wire, these braces do not interfere with speech and allow easy brushing. Ceramic fasteners in the same colour as the tooth enamel make it very discreet. Book an appointment.

Lingual dental appliance

This fixed appliance is installed on the inner surface of the teeth (not visible from the outside), on the upper or/and on lower teeth. Book an appointment.

Transparent trays and aligners

Very discreet, these trays and aligners can be removed if necessary. Ideal for all people who wish to align their teeth in the most discreet way. Book an appointment.

Your child has no insurance cover

Your child is covered by complementary private insurance

If you are under 20 years old, and according to certain criteria

You are the legal guardian of your child and receive social benefits (PCG, Social services)

Our Ardentis team will also be able to inform you about all the refund options and help you with the administrative procedures.
