The phases of treatment

The two phases of orthodontic treatment

Orthodontic treatment lasts on average from 6 months to 2 and a half years and generally takes place in two phases:

Active phase

The braces and aligners are in the mouth, correcting the teeth.

Passive phase

This is the immobilisation period, after the orthodontic treatment has been completed.

Orthodontic techniques

Transparent trays and aligners

Very discreet, these trays and aligners (Invisalign®, ClearCorrect, CA® CLEAR ALIGNER, Smilers®) can be removed if necessary. Ideal for all people who wish to align their teeth in the most discreet way. Book an appointment.

Lingual dental appliance

This fixed appliance is installed on the inner surface of the teeth (not visible from the outside), on the upper or/and on lower teeth. Book an appointment.

Classic braces with ceramic fasteners brackets

Consisting of brackets glued to the outside of the teeth and connected by a metal wire, these braces do not interfere with speech and allow easy brushing. Ceramic fasteners in the same colour as the tooth enamel make it very discreet. Book an appointment.
